Original publisher's pamphlet printed in black ink on beige paper. No binding. Pages are loose. 5 1/4" x 8 1/4." Eight pages, complete. Pages are clean and intact except for browning throughout, some offsetting, and slight wear to extremities. A Very Good copy. A plea made by the State of Kentucky to Congress to reimburse Kentucky citizens for providing horses during the War of 1812. The author of this plea cites several cases and different years in which private citizens of Kentucky furnished their horses for mounted soldiers in the "Northwest" and other regions. The State of Kentucky requests that the federal government reimburse these citizens for the loss of their horses during the war. Brief printed correspondence acknowledging receipt of this request by John J. Crittenden, R. Hickman, Isaac Shelby, and M. D. Hardin in back.. Book. Book Condition: Very Good. Binding: No Binding
